New lighting

This being the first week of school I like to show my students some new lighting I learned and get them excited about the year. I got to show them a technique I saw blog.lindayadlerphotography.com do and the shots came out well and the students loved seeing all the pictures going up on the projector. Here are just a couple examples of what we came up with.

Milk Splashes (A little Watery)

This student really wanted to try something that takes patience and time. He got some really nice results.

This was really one the photographers first time in the studio by herself.

Glowing in the Dark

This is the last picture taken last year. The student was really excited about using glow in the dark paint and black lights to create the image. Since I had never used either in a photo we had to experiment a bit to get it right. After many errors, tests, and plenty of arguing we created a successful image.
